Stamp of Approval | Lovely Notes | Chevron Thanks

Do you like what you have seen of the Stamp of Approval Lovely Notes collection so far?   Saturday I shared a sneak peek of the 3 wreath cards with sneak peeks from 3 of the stamp sets in the collection.  Sunday was my blog hop day.  Be sure and leave a comment on that post for your chance to win one of the collections for free.

Today I am highlighting the chevron banner die and triple thanks stamp.  I made the three cards above and was just going to leave this post with pictures, but I couldn't help myself.  I had too many tips to share, so I made a 4th card and a video.  ;)

There are so many possibilities with this fun chevron banner die!

This card uses the negative space of the die cut to make a border along the side of my card.  I used a similar technique to the one on my blog hop cards.

Stamps: Handpainted Thanks (Neat & Tangled for SOA Lovely Notes)
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party (Stampin' Up) Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron (Distress)
Paper: Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: Lovely Flowers & Banners Dies (Catherine Pooler Designs for SOA Lovely Notes)

My next card uses both the positive and the negative parts of this banner die.  This is the one that is similar to the card in the video, but I flipped the position of the positive and negative die cut pieces.

Stamps: Handpainted Thanks (Neat & Tangled for SOA Lovely Notes)
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party (Stampin' Up) Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron (Distress)
Paper: Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: Lovely Flowers & Banners Dies (Catherine Pooler Designs for SOA Lovely Notes)

Last, but not least is the sweet birdie card.  I used the frame included in the concentric circles die to die cut the window for my birdies.  This card uses just a hint of Christmas patterned paper.  It doesn't really look Christmas-y to me.  It looks more like stars in the heavens.

Stamps: Handpainted Thanks (Neat & Tangled for SOA Lovely Notes) Butterfly  Notes, Wonderful Wreath (Catherine Pooler Designs for SOA Lovely Notes)
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party (Stampin' Up) Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron (Distress) Versamark
Paper: Candy Cane Lane (Bo Bunny) Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Accessories: Concentric Circles Dies (Neat & Tangled for SOA Lovely Notes) Lovely Flowers & Banners Dies (Catherine Pooler Designs for SOA Lovely Notes) (White Embossing Powder (SU)

Don't forget there are 3 days worth of blog hops with inspiring creations from the entire SOA design team and 3 collections being given away.  Comment on each blog on each day of the hop for your best chance of winning one of those boxes.  Be sure you are on the wait list at cpstampofapproval.com to be one of the first to get a sales link when the collection goes up.  StampNation members will get theirs first and everyone else on the wait list will get theirs an hour later.  Good luck!

I've still got half a dozen more cards to share with you!  Come back tomorrow to see a sneak peek of my challenge card for StampNation, along with a second card I made for my blog readers.

Then check in on Thursday to see a collection of lovely note cards you could give or send to a friend.

So creative, I MUST do more ink blending , the more I see it the more I love it! Thanks for expanding my options with the new SOA collection. I am seriously getting up early to order (on MST) and as its summer, I usually get to sleep in, instead of getting up at the crack ⚡️ of dawn for school days-yerghhhhh!
